Positive and Practical Information
The do’s and don’ts of puppies, the
importance of socialization, understanding how dog’s learn,
knowing how to train your dog, proper nutrition & veterinary care,
nail trimming demonstration, and how to overcome common behavior
challenges such as Excessive Barking, Jumping, Digging, Chewing, &
Housetraining.
What Are Classes Like?
Group lessons with a limited number of
participants. Lessons will include information and instruction
focused upon beginning obedience skills and basic problem solving.
We reserve the right to ask owners of overly aggressive or
disruptive dogs to remove themselves from the class and pursue
private training. A pro-rated refund will be issued for the group
tuition.
Bring The Whole Pack!
Your entire family is encouraged to
attend all classes with your dog. However, very young children
and/or children with short attention spans may find portions
difficult. We reserve the right to request that children remain at
home who become too great a distraction.
Roll Call
Attendance is critical to your success.
There are NO REFUNDS for
missed classes.
A copy of the missed
week’s student guide will be provided to you upon request.
What Do I Need To Bring?
A favorite toy (Please, no squeaky
toys!)
Small soft
food treats for rewards!!
Proof of DHLPP, Rabies
and Bordatella vaccinations. Please consult your veterinarian.
Dog collar (Our
recommended training collars will be available for purchase.)
6 foot nylon or leather
leash. (Please no chain or retractable leashes.)
Please DO NOT FEED YOUR
DOG before class. This prevents dogs from eliminating during class
and produces a more responsive dog to your rewards.
